Gemini Connected Apps: Which Services Work and How to Connect Them

Google is rolling out a new wave of Connected Apps in Gemini, expanding what an assistant can do beyond answering a question. Announced on September 23, 2026, the additions cover work projects, creative tools and everyday plans. The central idea is to ask Gemini to work with a service without repeatedly switching tabs.

Which apps are in the new wave?

For productivity, Google names Airtable, Linear, monday.com, PandaDoc, Wispr AI and Zoho. The creative group includes Adobe, Picsart, Squarespace and Webflow. Lifestyle connections include apartments.com, Experian, Peloton and SeatGeek. This is a rollout, so an individual integration may not appear in every account at the same moment.

How do you connect an app to Gemini?

Google says you can find the services in Gemini settings. You can also bring a supported app into a chat by typing an @ mention or asking for it directly. If an app does not respond, look at the account’s connected-app settings and whether the specific service is available to you.

What can you actually do?

A project manager could ask for help organizing work in a supported task app; a creator could move from an idea to a visual asset; someone planning an event could search tickets. The precise actions depend on the app’s integration. A connection is a way to reach a service, not a promise that every feature in that service is accessible through Gemini.

Why is this useful?

People increasingly keep one project across multiple tools: notes in one place, tasks in another and final assets elsewhere. Bringing those services into a conversation can reduce the repeated search, copy and paste cycle. The strongest test is a specific task you already do, such as finding a project item or starting a design, then comparing the result with your normal workflow.

What about access and control?

Connect only the services needed for a task and review the requested permissions during setup. For actions involving a document, booking, purchase or personal information, inspect the result in the underlying service. Google’s announcement identifies the new services and two setup routes, while each integration determines its own available actions.

In short: Gemini’s Connected Apps broaden the assistant from chat to practical work across named services. Start with one integration and one clear request to see whether it saves you a step.
