Corrections Policy

VERIQIA treats corrections as part of the public record. Reported errors are reviewed against the Story File’s sources, evidence and version history before published content changes.

Reporting an error

A correction request should identify the affected public URL, the precise statement or element at issue, why it may be inaccurate, and supporting evidence or a direct authoritative source where available. Send the request to VERIQIA’s dedicated editorial address.

Review before correction

A report does not automatically establish an error. VERIQIA reviews the current published version, its source lineage, relevant primary evidence and any new information. Sensitive or disputed changes may require stronger review.

Material corrections

When a material correction is approved, VERIQIA creates a new immutable Story File version, changes the public state to CORRECTED where appropriate, preserves the original publication time and displays a concise public correction note.

Updates and minor edits

New verified developments may be released as an UPDATED version. Minor non-material edits—such as formatting, spelling or clarity changes that do not alter meaning—may be handled proportionately. A substantive factual change will not be described as minor.

Preserved history and privacy

Prior versions remain preserved. Public history may show version number, date and a concise change or correction summary. It does not expose private founder comments, internal risk analysis, unpublished versions or confidential audit data.

Removal and legal requests

Accurate historical material is not removed merely because it is inconvenient. Privacy, safety, copyright, unlawful-content and binding legal requests are assessed separately through the Takedown process, subject to applicable law.
