Privacy

This policy explains the data practices of VERIQIA, a news-intelligence product built and operated by MAANIH Technologies Private Limited. It applies to the public site, VERIQIA Brief signup, public analytics and related operational services.

Information processed

Normal website operation may involve request and technical information such as page path, time, device or browser signals, referrer origin, security events and service logs. Hosting, delivery and other infrastructure providers may process technical data as needed to provide and secure the service.

VERIQIA Brief

When a person signs up, VERIQIA processes the normalized email address, clear consent, signup time, selected market, language, signup source and relevant preferences. Safe campaign or referral attribution may also be recorded. External email delivery remains provider-neutral and may be unconfigured.

Consent and unsubscribe

Brief signup requires an affirmative consent action. A tokenized unsubscribe process changes delivery status without publicly confirming whether an email address is subscribed. Withdrawal and consent history may be retained where needed to honour suppression, demonstrate choices and meet legal or operational requirements.

Analytics and attribution

VERIQIA records bounded events such as page and Story File views, search actions, source-link clicks, Compare Coverage engagement, shares and Brief signup steps. Attribution may distinguish direct, search, social, referral, campaign, house-ad and later newsletter traffic.

Advertising measurement

The ad system may record real impressions and clicks with bounded dimensions such as campaign, placement, content context, market and language. VERIQIA is not built around invasive behavioural profiling or sensitive microtargeting.

Subscriber and advertising separation

Subscriber email addresses and consent records are not exposed to advertisers or included in campaign delivery data. Subscriber identity and advertising measurement remain logically separated.

Operational records and secrets

Protected administration may retain audit records for editorial decisions, source operations, corrections, distribution, campaigns and consent changes. Credentials, access tokens and secrets are not intended for public display or audit payloads.

Purpose, providers and disclosure

Information is used to operate and secure VERIQIA, provide requested subscriber features, measure performance, maintain editorial accountability and support lawful operations. Data may be processed by hosting, security, analytics, email or other service providers, and disclosed when legally required or needed to protect rights and safety.

Retention

VERIQIA does not state one fixed retention period for every record. Information is retained only as reasonably needed for operational, security, legal, consent-history and legitimate business requirements, subject to applicable law and the nature of the record.

Requests and choices

Subject to applicable law, a person may request information about relevant personal data, correction, updating, erasure, consent withdrawal or grievance review. Requests may require reasonable verification and may be limited where retention or processing is required by law, security, legal claims or another lawful basis. Send privacy and data-rights requests to the dedicated privacy address.
